Happy Summer, Microsoft atLife Summer Campaign Portal
The Microsoft atLife site focuses on the consumer market by serving as a portal for articles that improve the users’ experience with Microsoft products. The site itself received a design overhaul not long before I was tasked with art directing a Summer campaign.
I wanted to incorporate all of the different aspects, which are typically numerous, to a summer in Japan, and in designing the campaign’s look and feel I included references to a range of activities, both night and day, that are specific to the locale and would strike the right chord for Japanese users of the site.
Main feature content included summer holidays and family interaction, cloud services, music sharing, touch-technology and cross-media continuity, as well as specialist commentary on the latest apps for Windows 8.
